Primary Business Types
EZ-DepositSlip allows you to customize fields for different businesses or organizations such as medical offices, real estate, consulting etc.
See Primary Business Types for more Information

Sound
Who says making a deposit slip can't be fun? By default, EZ-DepositSlip gives you a "ca-ching" sound every time you enter a check or preview a deposit slip. To turn the cash register "ca-ching" sound on/off go to the menu bar, select Preferences and click on or off.   You can swap out the two "ca-ching" audio files by renaming your own sound files CashReg1.wav (per deposit item) and cash_register2.wav (per deposit).

Check Number Verify

This feature will help catch a data errors when entering checks. If you accidentally type check number 1101 and a dollar amount of 11.01 a message will appear warning you that these two fields may be entered in error.

Pre-Fill Field
Remembers and prefills the last payee's field values. For example Tom Thompson pays a loan at a fixed amount $100 every month. The next month when Tom Thompson is selected as the payee, the amount, type of check, other payee, memo and miscellaneous fields will be prefilled with the last values. This is a time saving feature for business/organization that receive checks from the same payees on a periodic basis such as renters or loan payees.

Displays Routing and Account Numbers (on Deposit Slip)
Withholds the MICR line on deposit slips. See Reports for more information on printing options.

Auto Check Update
Prefills today's date in the check date field.  The default setting is to use today's date. (every time you move into this field). Many landlords and mail order companies use today's date rather than the actual check date because the payment date is when the check is received not when hand-written or mailed by the payee. You can edit a check date or deposit date directly on the deposit slip. See Deposits for more information.

Auto Backup
Automatically backs up the main EZ-DepositSlip Database to a specified folder. See Backup for more information.

Printer Selection

Allows two printers to be used - one for printing deposit slips and another for reports. This is especially helpful if you have a dedicated printer for printing deposit slips using magnetic ink/toner

Adjust Deposit Slip

This option is for adjusting the margins on your deposit slip report. Many Ink jet printers have up to a 1/2 inch (.5") no-print zone on the bottom of the sheet. If you do not see the MICR line on the bottom of an EZ-DepositSlip or it is truncated we suggest you increase the bottom margin setting from 220 (.15") to 720 (.50"). Then lower the number until the MICR line prints just above the no-print area of your printer.
